The BROCK® Commercial Tower (BCT) 3500 Dryer features the Brock INTUI-DRY® Dryer Control and TrueGrain™ Moisture Sensor System for accurate moisture management and dryer operation. The BCT Dryer also features a Circular Drag Unloading System that evenly meters and delivers grain. It is known to be very consistent and true to its rated capacity.

“We upgraded because we were very disappointed in the performance of our previous tower dryer. The moisture controls did not do what they were supposed to do. The unloading system was unreliable as to how much grain would come out of the dryer. And that’s why the moisture control didn’t work as promoted.
Field testing.
When Brock Grain Systems was developing their new TrueGrain Moisture Sensor System, they worked closely with the Jurgens to field test the unit. By recording the results over two harvests, Brock was able to prove the technology before rolling it out to other dryers.
“I can bring corn in now that varies in moisture. Like when we switch fields, I don’t have to pay any attention to how wet the corn is anymore. You just put it in the holding bin and this dryer takes care of it.
“The way this new moisture sensor works is so much more reliable because it isn’t located on the bottom of the pan where the fines and everything else are collected. With the TrueGrain System, I don’t have to calibrate my sensor like I did with my older dryer. This is so much more reliable on the calibration side of it.
“The TrueGrain is just a very reliable moisture control. And that tied together with the consistent unloading and dryer control, that’s why the BCT dryer works as well as it does.”

INTUI-DRY® Control.
“The control is very simple. It doesn’t take up much room and the touch-screen is very easy to navigate. And it does what you need to do and has a lot of information on it. I like the graphs on incoming and outgoing grain with averages for the last two hours.
“With INTUI-DRY Control, you just set up what your max unload rate is and it just makes your temperature do whatever it’s supposed to. You don’t even have to think about it.

“I use the mobile app to check the dryer at night. I just look at my phone and it’ll tell you what’s going on. And then I look at my graph to see what my outgoing moisture has been in the last couple hours. That’s all there is to it.”
